| Emil Hyde The Ego Emil Hyde toured the world (if by “the world” you mean the United States and Europe) with his rock band for a decade before realizing that people seemed to like the group’s videos, which Hyde directed, far batter than their actual music. The Landlord marked Hyde’s first stab at creating a movie that wasn’t related to any musical endeavor, and the enthusiastic reception from fans, film festivals, and distributors pretty much confirmed that he’d been working in the wrong medium all along. He tells people that his favorite movies are Aguirre: The Wrath of God, Barry Lyndon, and The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. |

Dan Kiggins Co-Producer Having devoted much of his existence to collecting obscure B-movies (Dan once presented director Ricou Browning with a bootleg of his film The Amazing Mister No-Legs, which Browning himself didn’t have), it was only natural that Dan Kiggins would go on to produce obscure B-movies of his own. While most of Dan’s work happens behind the scenes, on set he performs the vital function of keeping the underfed, overworked cast and crew from mutiny. At various times Dan’s stated that his favorite films are Night of the Living Dead, Rebecca, and the criminally underrated women-in-prison drama Caged |

Derek Dziak Associate Producer A rising contender in the “Light Heavyweight” division of movie comedians (watch your back, Jack Black), Derek is also Chicago’s most popular bouncer and Massive Ego Productions’ top hustler of DVDs and merchandise, both at conventions and on the street. When not working on or promoting ME’s various film projects, Derek plays guitar and sings in his metal band, Deus Absconditus. Derek’s favorite movies include Aliens, Ghostbusters, and Crank. |
